I know this leak line looks pretty bad but I put leak issues on hold last night because I was suddenly having issues with sleep comfort. (It's all mouth leaks.)

Last night I just did mask + mouth tape and woke up to an inverse I:E. All my inhalation times in the past have been lower than my exhalation times. Is this because of the leaks?

I read AmirKas's threads on tidal volumes and I'm wondering if looking at my TV/MV could clue me into why I still feel so tired despite the CPAP results looking really great. Could you please take a look? My REM latency from my EEG sleep study was 30-35 minutes. Thank you so much.

We just recently heard you exclaim how happy you were to sleep through the night. We cannot use the settings on your machine to significantly alter respiratory volumes or timing, so as long as comfort is improving, why get in the way of a good thing?

Hi Sleeprider,

I was really happy to have slept through the night but that doesn't mean I felt that great after waking up  Too-funny I like to celebrate small successes because they seem few and far in between sometimes. I'm currently working part time due to my sleep issues.

I will definitely say that since starting, nights without CPAP (there was one or two) were worse than nights with. However, I would really like to get back to where I can work full time...  Unsure

So I guess the advice is to keep doing what I'm doing with my CPAP? Sorry to be bugging people on the board...   Sad

Hello... it's me again.

I got prescribed Belsomra for my insomnia and started taking it on April 6th. My sleep quality improved a lot (can't stress that enough) but you can tell in the summary graph that I suddenly started getting a lot more OA's. I also felt like I couldn't breath while on my sides last night. Given that my sleep is WAY better overall on Belsomra, do I need be worried?

RE: PurpleOx Therapy: Diagnosed with Moderately Severe OSA
Wow can't believe it's almost been a year!!!

I had to deal with large leaks due to not being able to replace my full face mask which wore out (got soft) over time.

Leaks got a LOT better after getting mask replacements and swapping the Dreamwear headgear to size small. (My head is big overall, but small around the part the mask goes over! lol!) However, I am tightening my mask so much that my nose is getting bruised (lightly blue across the bridge)...

I want to try changing my ERP from 3 to 0 because I notice a tendency for the mask to lleak on exhale even when I'm awake. My pressure range with ERP 3 is 8-11. With ERP 0, is my new pressure range 5-8? (Since on exhale, that's what the pressure is with ERP 3, 8-11?) Thanks!
