Question: If I were to try VCOM in CPAP mode, what would folks suggest I try if my bi-level settings are 15.0/11.0 PS 4.0?
Thinking about trying it out, but wanted to get an idea if anyone else had an opinion. Thanks!

VCOM & Bi-Level
I just watched a video with Dr. Noah, the VCOM inventor and I am curious if others have watched. He said there is no need for bi-level for OSA and that using CPAP with a VCOM is much better for therapy and comfort.
Question: If I were to try VCOM in CPAP mode, what would folks suggest I try if my bi-level settings are 15.0/11.0 PS 4.0? Thinking about trying it out, but wanted to get an idea if anyone else had an opinion. Thanks!

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
Great thread. I don't get it either. If VCOM lowers IPAP, then why not lower IPAP on your machine and not use it? I just watched an interview with the LankyLefty on youTube with Dr. Noah, and all it did was confuse me on what works and what doesn't????
Here's the link anyone who is interested: LeftyLanky & Dr. Noah Sept. 2024

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
Well I didn’t get LankyLefty or uncle Nicko from Australia either, both of these guys rant and raved about the vcom from day 1. Kind of makes you wonder ,$$$$.

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
In this latest YouTube video, Lefty challenges Dr. Noah a few times about RERA's and flow limitations, and I thought Dr. Noah stumbles a bit trying to answer. Makes me think twice about the VCOM for now at least.

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
In that video Dr Noah said the best way to use the vcom is use cpap mode and adjust pressure to stop the obstructive events and then put vcom in the circuit. My problem with the vcom is that I couldn’t exhale with it and never could fall asleep.

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
Agreed. I tried it about a year ago and I thought I was using it wrong. I felt like I was suffocating.

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
Everything I have heard about the Vcom has been negative. I don't think it helps many, if any people.

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
Interesting you say that as Dr. Noah is saying it's been a revolution in cpap therapy. I just don't see it.

RE: VCOM & Bi-Level
He would say that as he invented the Vcom.
