Week Two - CPAP is saving me money
Into my third week of using CPAP and things are going well, although last night my mask kept moving (maybe 'cause I was moving a lot in my sleep) and bother me a bit.
I am saving a lot of money due to being awake and alert with energy when I get home from work and making lunch for the next day instead of buying. I'm even getting up a little earlier and having a healthy lunch as opposed to skipping it or buying it at work.
My bank account is feeling the great effects of CPAP therapy!!!!!!!:

Glad to hear this! Was the AHI or leak number any higher than usual last night?

I'm TOTALLY psyched after reading this! Here I was worried about the on-going maintenance cost of CPAP equipment and supplies, but the OP is absolutely right. Because of my chaotic sleep/wake times I've gotten accustomed to buying lunch every day. Also, I often times miss the train and have to pay a hefty parking fee in the city. Not even factoring in coffee and expensive lattes.
Maybe the CPAP will pay for itself in a year...

It would be interesting if you kept track of these expenses as well as what you are not paying now. Like, every morning you wake up in time to catch the train, you just saved the parking fee (and gas). Make a note of that savings and keep track of it.

I know I have saved thousands on Dr's bills since being diagnosed, before I was diagnosed I was at either the GP's or a Specialist almost every week, now I only go for a skin check once a year and the odd check up. I haven't had a cold since starting CPAP either so that's a bonus maybe my immune system is working better now
