Weird O2ring issue

Someone on another forum said he had this problem, but resolved it by leaving the app open on his phone. I'm guessing that works because even if the ring sensors lose connection, the ring is still "on" since it's connected to your phone with bluetooth. That totally makes sense. I don't normally keep the app open on my phone because it drains the phone's battery a bit. I assume there would still be a few gaps where the ring wasn't taking measurements, but at least it wouldn't be creating multiple sessions and vibrating whenever it restarted. I won't have the chance to test it for a few months, though.
