I just want to thank you again for the assist. It's fantastic to see my O2 and pulse next to everything else. Appreciation to everyone who has worked on this tool and Oscar in general. Without it I wouldn't have a handle on what's going on when I'm sleeping.

RE: Wellue O2 Ring + Macbook + Oscar 1.2
I used to use Wellue O2 and was able to work around the problem with O2 Insight for Mac not being compatible with Big Sur. My work around was to create a binary file export from the iPhone app, Transfer the file to the Mac then import using the "Import Viatom Data" command. Worked like a charm.

Now that Wellue and Viatom updated the O2 Insight Pro for Mac to Version 1.5.0, the app currently runs under MacOS Big Sur and connects wellue devices (O2Ring or Checkme O2) to the Mac only through Bluetooth (Mac app does not support a USB cable import like the PC version of the same program). HOWEVER, you can only link a pulse oximeter device to only one other device through bluetooth so you have to choose between your phone or the Mac. (I get this error message from the O2 Insight Pro app "Make sure the device not connected to phone App") That is unfortunate.

Here is my current problem - I hope that someone in the forum could help.
I no longer have the Wellue O2Ring and I purchased the Checkme O2 Max Smart Wrist Pulse Oximeter. (They are similar except for the fact that the Checkme has a much better battery and the display on the wrist is better than what you see on the ring.) The ViHealth app is the same for both devices and the export procedure is identical. . I had assumed that the procedure I described above to download data from the O2ring to OSCAR will work the same way with Checkme O2 max. But, when I try to import the Checkme binary files to OSCAR using the Viatom Data import, nothing happens. Is it possible for OSCAR to recognize the Viatom/Wellue Checkme binary file?

Thank You for this great forum.

Did you just import the data files or did you import the complete directory where they resided? The OSCAR loader requires the data files to be in the directory that has the device's serial number as its name.

I forgot that's hidden by default, and just added the following to the wiki page:

For most users the "Library" folder is hidden, but you can reach it by pressing cmd-shift-G and entering "~/Library" in the file selection dialog.

Try that!

I’ve also had issues, I have found the the file in the oath mentioned just as described but it’s greyed out... the oximeter import wizard can locate it but cannot select it... a bit  frustrated

I did exactly as yo said Crimson Nape the path I take through the directory, the file is in a folder under the name of the serial number on the back of my SleepU, still greyed out...

I admit that I am MAC-challenged, but it sounds like a directory/file permission issue.

I Frickin got it to work!!! It won’t work through oximetry wizard...

You have to go to the menu all the way too left of the screen “Apple icon, File, View, Data, Help.

Select Data select Import Viatom Data it brings you right to the folder with the serial number that is on the back of your device, hit open and WAMO BOB’S YOUR UNCLE! It works?

Did not mean to put a ? At the end of it works...

IT WORKS! All the oximeter data is in OSCAR, again it doesn’t work for me on the Mac for viatom or wellue through the oximetry wizard, see my previous post on how I got it to work?
