So I’m looking at the cheapest out of pocket nasal mask which appears to be Comfortgel Blue. I can’t quite tell how to use the sizing template and if the top of the bridge of my nose needs to be inside the template
What nasal mask do you like best and why?
ResMed AirFit N30i This is not the same as the N30.
The good way to buy it is as a Standard Starter pack, which comes with the 3 smallest sizes included, the Small, Medium, and Small Wide. The fourth size is the Wide, available separately. The headgear can also accept the P30i Pillows nose pieces, so a cheaper way to try nose masks.
I have tried the N30 also, and it's comfortable when you are awake, but it has a small flexible hose length attached to the mask, with no quick attach fitting, and I find that the weight of the heated hose tends to drag the mask's own hose around and tilt the mask causing leaks. The headgear on the N30 has very weak straps, and even if I initially get a seal, they seem to stretch easily.
I've bought the N30i for about $84 on sale with free shipping , and I think $76 from ebay, so with shipping, about the same.
