new machine Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto
Hello everyone,

I am going to purchase an airsense 10vauto out of pocket. There is a verified preowned for $775 with a 1000 hour or less, is that a good price? They say it comes with a 1 year warranty. Or I can purchase a new one for about 1300. What would you so?

Thanks,

Mark

RE: new machine
Sounds like a 50% discount for a device with about 4% of its useful life used. Great deal. You can't get a new car driven off the lot for a deal like that, unless it's an EV. Smile

RE: new machine
Thanks Sleeprider. I did find one cheaper at in of the listed providers brand new for 999 with the full 2 year warranty, so I purchased that. When it comes in I will post my Oscars off of my current Resmed airsense 11 to get you all to help me set up the v10 auto.

RE: new machine
Sleeprider, I'm sorry, I thought it was on the supplier list but after looking closer it wasn't. The one I ordered from Is  "Thecpapshop" but I saw their name on the forum.

RE: new machine
Well, if I can be excited about a new machine,  Cool , I guess I am. my Resmed AirCurve 10 V-auto  should be arriving in a few days, hopefully I will be more rested. Last night was the best night I had in a while because I was very tired and I took a sleeping pill. Attached are my last 3 days on my auto sense 11. So seeing these numbers what should I start the new machine on? IF I need to post more screenshots please let me know!

These are settings the doctor who did the online prescrption set:
Device: BiPAP
Setting: IPAP 20
EPAP min 6
PS 4

Thanks for everyone's help on this journey of mine.

RE: new machine
Your CPAP settings are equivalent to EPAP min 9.0, IPAP max 14.0 PS 3, and your results are quite good. I'm thinking EPAP min 8.0, IPAP max 14.0 PS 4 to start on the Vauto. You can try lower EPAP min, and we will observe whether that results in excessive pressure swing. It's kind of hard to go wrong as the device is responsive enough to make up for settings that may not be optimal, and it lets you try a lower pressure.

Thanks, SleepRider. What about the trigger setting and to TIMax setting?

RE: new machine
We can make adjustments after you try out the new machine. Your 95% TiMax is more than 2.0 in your CPAP results. You can probably set that to 3.0 and we will look at it closer after use. For now we can use medium trigger sensitivity and move that to high if we see some CA events to address.
