Looking at my detail OA, what is the bad durations - above 10?

10 or above counts as an apnea. Below 10 is just a pause in breathing. Obviously the fewer and shorter the events the better.

And it won't even note anything less than 10 seconds.
The machines won't either.

What Paula said, it wouldn't even be "an event" if it didn't last 10 seconds.
Yes, less is better (for you). Imagine holding your breath for 10 seconds; almost anyone can do that even those in poor health. Imagine holding your breath for 30 seconds; most HEALTHY and active people can do that but it might take a little concentrated effort. The longer the apnea the more likely it is to arouse you from sleep and the more likely it is to need to jolt you awake. Fewer is better; shorter is better. Some hypopneas are really PROBABLY not even true events (we can't tell without both a PulseOx and and an EEG.)

You can look at the data and after a while, you can tell if it was a true hypopnea event or a false reading. A hypopnea event is where the airway is narrowed to a certain point and only X amount of air is going through. There's an actual formula and all that. You can look at the flow limitation and at the wave form to see if it actually changes.
You can also look at the data to see how long your events last. You can get a feeling for what your "normal" events last, the time range. Then when one that is longer than usual happens, it will pop out at you and you'll say "Oh, must've been on my back!"
