wet hose?

RE: wet hose?
Sometimes those technical writers doing those manuals make mountains out of ant hills. You just have to know which parts are for covering their hind sides and which other parts you may need to apply your own common sense to and avoid jumping through unnecessary hoops. It's absurd to think that using a hose with some residual beads of water in it should be a major concern. Absolutely ridiculous.

Put water in the humidifier and select warm up from the screen.
It will gently blow air through the hose for up to 30 minutes.
That will dry the hose out even though its humid air.

Thanks! I did just that last night and it worked last night like a charm. I made sure the hose was laying so it was 'downhill'. After about 1/2 hour, all the water was gone. I guess it all evaporated as the floor didn't seem damp. Unsure

I agree it's stupid, especially given there is a humidifier. However, the last thing I want to do is void the warranty. I can't afford to get another one.
