AC11 humidity control setting
I'm trying to figure out what settings for my humidity control I should use if I need to use battery back up? I keep mine set on auto humidity and auto climate line tube heating, but that uses lots of power... Thanks!

RE: AC11 humidity control setting
this would depend on the battery back up, and humidity needs.

Having cpap last more hours is priority, humidity is a luxury I could do without. My question is really about changing the settings to conserve power usage...

RE: AC11 humidity control setting
best way to conserve power is a dc to dc converter that matching the input power of your machine, i just got an ecoflow river 2 yesterday, didn't even try the 120vac out put of it, got the 12v to 24v power supply for my resmed before i got the Ecoflow. With humidity on at 5 and warming up, my ecoflow was reporting 9hrs run time. turned the humidity off and it jumped to over 30. i do have my ecoflow set for max battery life. 20%min and 80%max charge. so it stops charging at 80% and turns off output at 20%

RE: AC11 humidity control setting
What I really need to know is what is the easiest and quickest way to reset my AC11 to run on battery power? With my older machine I just plugged into my inverter and turned off the humidifier, (but I wasn't using the climate line air hose). I just need a suggestion on how to do this so that I don't run out of juice after one nights use... Thanks!

RE: AC11 humidity control setting
You should turn off your humidifier and heated hose but leave water in your tank for Passover moisture. You should use a dc to dc converter cord that bumps your 12 volt battery up to 24 volts for your machine. Don’t use the inverter, it uses more power.
On my Lifepo 4 , 300 watt hr battery power station I can get over 32 hrs run time with 11% battery left.

RE: AC11 humidity control setting
I guess if I was having to go on battery power very often then it would justify buying more gadgets to make things more efficient. A 100 ah deep cycle from Wally World lasts me around 8 years, and my inverter still works good... I've yet to use the battery while using a humidifier/heated air hose combination, but the AC11 seems to be pretty efficient and it might work out to leave everything on? Just wondering if others here have tried it and what their experience was... Thanks!

RE: AC11 humidity control setting
You should do a test with your setup and report back. I’m sure it would help others.

I'll do a real world test next time we lose power! Off hand I'd say we have a power interruption an average of three times a year, (either from storms or accidents), and only a few times has it lasted all night long... Thanks for the comments!
