Brand New Need help please
My pulmonologist did PFTs and sleep apnea testing . My AHI is 28, I have desaturations, occasional aspirations. Daily I am short of breath especially AM and fatigue. He prescribed the Vauto but  have no clue where to start
Could you please advise initial settings. I am working on setting up with Oscar but not sure if my oximeter is compatible. Any suggestions for the best oximeter?

Thanks so much!

Thanks Crimson Nape. I will review the information and resend. There was also a post I had saved in drafts I tried to post with it but for some reason it didn’t work.

Hi Jen, not sure what you mean. I am “the op” and posted under the same name. There was a lag of time between posts but I’m one and the same. It’s my name. Its not even possible to post under someone else’s name. Btw, you aren’t the administrator and are admittedly new so why are you involved in this and why do you think that you had to intervene? You are completely mistaken and should not be inserting yourself in other members business

RE: Brand New Need help please
Thanks Crimson Nape for all your help. I am getting ready to send results, my ahi isn’t bad -5.9 but my respirations look abnormal to me although I can’t really interpret the chart. I am concerned because the doc said I don’t have copd but air is trapped and I can’t exhale. Also I’m having aspirations and his final statement is my body is not getting enough oxygen. Scared me. I had stopped PAP for over a year bc I couldn’t find a mask that didn’t leak unless I tightened so much it caused big dents and red marks/bruises on my face. My skin was just breaking down from all the pressure. Looked and felt terrible. So now I tried the new f40 which is very soft and flexible. Hoping it will work bc desperately need pap therapy according to my doc. First night was a disaster with massive leaking- only lasted 3 hours. Last night better but still needed a lot of tightening for small leaks. I may need size small as the straps are pulled to end of Velcro. But I managed to keep it on for 5 hours so you could see what’s going on. Thanks again, sending them both
