I am new to this forum. I purchased a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset in January and by March my Total AI's were down to 4-6 per hour. I then got Covid in March and was not able to use the Cpap Machine for a few weeks and since that time my results have been ranging from Total AI's of 15-20 per hour. It was suggested that having covid had somehow reduced the flow of air through my nasal passages. Does anyone have any knowledge of this kind of response to covid?
I have just taken control of my settings etc and changed from a set pressure of 9.2 to Auto with a range of 8.6 to 11. My Tube temperature was set at 25 and that is now on Auto with a humidity level of 4. I did set the Climate to Auto and thought that affected both tube temperature and humidity levels but notice the settings no longer show Climate Control nor can I find settings for tube temperature and the humidity setting appears to be on manual and set at 4.
My results from 6 hours usage last night were AHI 9.7, Total AI 6.1, Central AI 5.2.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Folk here love to see some data before making recommendations. There should always be reasoning behind pressure changes.
I've never had Covid, but maybe others can comment on that.
If you are able, please download the OSCAR software. Be sure there is an SD card in your Pap machine. We need to see a Screenshot from the Daily page in OSCAR.
Use the F12 key(Standard View) to take the Screenshot. Follow the links in my signature line to guide you.
