Opinions on CPAP Tiltration Study?
Hi all, I was wondering if it would be worth the price for a tiltration study. I was supposed to do it during my split night study but they had never done the tiltration part :/ Im not sure if its easier / more effiecient to just sleep at home and try to adjust the settings or get this done. Any input would be appreciated.

Hi Dread,
I have combined (4)four of your threads as they all reflect upon your Cpap therapy. Please keep your posts and charts to this one thread as it is easier for those that wish to advise not to search for your other threads to see your history. Going forward, please use this thread for posting your charts and general questions. I also re-labeled your thread title to: Dread's - Cpap Therapy Thread Thank You!

Talking to doctor, he believes the root cause of my nail clubbing is sleep hyponeas. Unfortunately I can’t get a prescription so I’m getting a cpap to try this week from Facebook. He’s unsure whether the clubbing can reverse.

You do not need a specialist to prescribe CPAP. Ask your doctor for the script. Any doctor, nurse or health professional can prescribe CPAP based on their judgment and findings. Your test results would not qualify you for CPAP under most insurance policies without significant comorbidities. If you have access to a CPAP, use it and discuss whether it improves your condition with your doctor.

Doctors say it’s not sleep hyponea but I feel hypersomlence, cravings and all the symptoms of sleep apnea but with hyponea. I was wondering without a prescription what would be a safe way to start? I’m going to start it, yet without a prescription. I have the sleep study report, and will go to a pulmonogist. I just need to survive for these few weeks. I have my sleep study. It is a rested air sense 10 I am getting.

Looking at my report, and settings you would recommend to get dialed in to try first? Unfortunately I can not afford a tiltration study so.

You don't necessarily need a titration study. When you get your Cpap, we will help guide you on posting your charts here.
You will need a SD card in your machine while sleeping. Order a Clinicians Manual for your machine. https://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p...tup-manual

Makes more sense now that you combined all of the threads. All I saw was a single thread which made little sense.
Thank you OpalRose.
