RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
I get to the point where it says to search for the oximeter, but it doesn't find it. The Nonin manual says it should go into pairing mode for the first 2 minutes after putting in batteries with the Bluetooth logo blinking once per second, but it just shows solid. Sigh.
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
No its starts pairing after battery install
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
I have tried everything including searching seconds after putting the battery in, seconds after turning it on, etc. I think I got a defective unit. Or, maybe it came paired to something else and needs to be reset but I can't figure out how to do that.
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
I have not received it yet. But I now think it is the prior model that is not supported by the Resmed.
It has the same name, but uses the word Bluetooth instead of BLE.
I will be likely have to return it.
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
Is there a way to integrate the telemetry from a Oura Ring Gen3’s Bluetooth BTE, with the Resmed airsense 11?
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
Hi Zephyr128! -
No, the only oximeter that is capable of connecting to the AS11 is the Nonin 3150 BLE. OSCAR is also unable to integrate the Oura Ring's data too.

RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
Does the Nonin TruO2 Model 3245 Bluetooth Wireless Fingertip Oxygen Sensor work with the resmed 11 and my air?
Has anyone tried it with the resmed 11?
Red,
Have you tried seeing if the ring would connect and work, or are you only going off of the published literature?
RE: ResMed AirSense 11 compatible pulse oximeters
Based on another member's post, only the Nonin 3150-
BLE model will pair up. According to this member, it has to display "BLE" on the device's packaging to correctly connect. Evidently, there is a difference in the pairing code between the Bluetooth and BLE models. As far as the Oura Ring, there isn't any supporting code, that I'm aware of, that can be used in OSCAR. You are free to download the source code and create a loader for the ring. Here is the download link:

Good luck!

There are a limited number available from the eBay seller. Possibly a hospital shut down and brokered their stock out for sale.
I have not received my Nonin 3150 yet, so cannot confirm it is a legitimate device, but the eBay offering looks good. As always, eBay buyers should beware of scams.
No prescription was required on eBay, but a disclaimer stated you have to be a qualified medical clinic to purchase.
An email from Nonin stated:
"As an FDA classified medical device it’s available exclusively to physicians and hospitals to monitor their patients, and only via our authorized medical distributors. If you have a prescription from your healthcare team, it can be ordered from one of our distributors, linked below." ... "our authorized online distributors, i.e. Turner Medical, Concord Health Supply, or Medical Device Depot."
I was not able to create an account on Concord Health Supply because it required a federal tax ID. But they had a better price, which is $754.

I received the Nonin 3150 BLE from eBay item "NONIN Wrist OX Bluetooth Pulse Oximeter Model 3150." It functions perfectly.
It included the 8000SM reusable soft sensor, but does not include the nVision software, which is important. It was an awesome deal, can't believe it. All packaging was intact, it appeared to be unused. But the batteries were missing, so someone had opened the box. The box had not been sealed at the factory.
I also bought one from Turner Medical, $915. It is the starter kit, includes the USB cable and your choice of 8000S sensor in small, medium or large. It also includes the nVision software for $300 extra.
