Fisher and Paykel Solo
#31
RE: Fisher and Paykel Solo
F + P solo still not available in USA as of Mid April 2024. However [DME Link Removed] Supplier #38 has an email list of people interested and will be notified when it arrives in USA.

So far ResMed F 40 is the newest full face mask just came out like a month ago. F + P Evora Full Face for people avoiding magnets.

F + P Solo will probably come to USA soon. F+ P Brevida is the closest thing to the Solo, if you love Brevida then you will love the Solo.

What I truly desire is AI face technology used in all DME and online stores to help people find best mask for their face shape and nose before even sampling...along with a questionaire to help pinpoint best type of mask for your needs.

Also want to see 4 different face type people - oval, circle, square, heart shape face being used as mask testers. Have 3 different type noses seen using different masks not just the standard penguin beak nose folks.

It's 2024 folks we need more innovation on CPAP - why don't portable battery charger come with your machine?

Why are mask liners not encourage enough at DME?
Like if your a lady doing your bedtime skincare - your retinol and moisturizer or doing a overnight skin treatment you need the mask liners for full face and nasal masks.

It seems like this mask will be available very soon, according to online sites.

Pre orders are already happening across CPAP sites, I would check the website you're most comfortable with and see if they have any available to pre order if you're willing to buy it.

That's great news. Like you, I also use the Bleep Dreamport Solution. I'm mainly a side sleeper. I've only tried few of different nasal/nasal pillow masks, but outside of the Bleep (which I've used for a few years now), I've yet to find one that is comfortable, quiet, and more importantly, doesn't leak.

I'll be very interested to hear the details of your experience as you use it more.

It is apparently now available in the USA. ( sleeplay have it )

Sleep HQ users have reviewed it and if you are a member you could read them all. I use it and I love it. The pillows have reduced my leaks and I have a cushion for if my nose gets sore. It does what it says on the tin and you can adjust each side with small movements. Uncle Nicko from CPAP reviews has a video about it on you tube.

When is the pillows one coming to the US? There's two versions of the FP Solo, the Nasal and the Pillows. Pillows look more comfy in my own personal experience and opinion, I'm eager to try both versions but US is only selling the Nasal one, Australia has both right now.

Ive been following this thread and see there are several people using the Solo mask.
I ve been using the airtouch n20 and do not like the location of the exhaust port.
Can someone please tell me where the exhaust ports on the Solo are located and does it blow upward toward your eyes.

I contacted Fisher & Paykel USA and they replied: "Thank you for your interest in Fisher & Paykel Healthcare products. We have not announced a launch date for the F&P Solo mask nasal pillows yet."   ... seems sorta funny to me that they wouldn't introduce both versions of the mask to the US at the same time.  I am also anxious to try the pillows, but have no interest in the nasal.  I guess it'll be a waiting game!
