Life of motor exceeded, Resmed S9

The message about exceeding motor life started to appear exactly 5 years after I started to use it.

I quickly realized that they were trying to scare me into getting a new machine. I'm not yet willing to spend the money for a new one, so I've decided to run it until it dies.

I had 22,100 hours on mine. I finally decided to get an S10 autopens for her.

As soon as I set it up with help from folks here I regretted not doing it sooner. Treatment is so much better. The S10 is a fantastic machine.  The s9E was noisy and primitive.

Thanks.  Absolutely love the video and agree with the message.  Resmed are clearly behaving unethically.

The only thing I will say in their defence is that their machines and masks are incredibly good.

The message came up on my machine when the run hours hit 22k, about 3 years ago.  My S9 is now on 35500 hours and still going fine with no noticeable issues.

First use of my AS10 Dec 3 2015. It hasn't missed a beat.
