Hello I’m a long time cpap user I’ve had my old remstar m series machine for around 15 years but its about to give out. I just seen the sleep doctor today for my home sleep study results which she said I have bad sleep apena which i knew already. I’m getting a new machine tomorrow morning she said it would be a Resmed My old one is auto so hopefully this will be.
I’m also going to need a mask my old one is the ultra mirage which is out of date + they break easy. I have looked at reviews on the F20, F30 and F40 fullface.
Anyone have any recommendations. Thanks

I have all three of the ResMed AirFit masks. My favorite is the F30. I swap um out when I feel like changing things up a bit.  Cool

BTW.....welcome to the forum.  Smile

Which machine you get should not be a matter of hope. Specify to your supplier that you want a resmed airsense 10 autoset or airsense 11 autoset and don't accept an elite or cpap model. See if your Dr. will specify one of the autoset models "dispense as written" in the prescription.

kysportsman, The resmed F40 is the updated F30 that big guy uses. I have one and it's been a back and forth mask for my particular face shape. Super comfortable and extremely quiet. But the upper adjusting straps pull the mask HARD up into my nose.
This of course might be different for you.

I have been having good luck with the standard low tech Resmed P10 nasal pillows.

I also have The resmed N30, which is a silicon hollow tube frame nasal cradle with the hose attachment on the top, I have the nasal pillow attachment for it. It is also very comfy and seals perfectly and is easy to roll over with. But the air rushing through the tube is noisy (think Darth Vader) and I just can't relax hearing that racket. And when I do fall asleep it wakes me from the noise .

Picked up my machine today. Resmed airsense 11 autoset with heated hose and F20 air touch mask, also I purchased the air fit pillow so I could try both. Start a new chapter tonight I check the settings on my old machine before unhooking it. It was in cpap mode with a pressure of 18 my 7 day aih was 1.8 with 30 day average of 1.1. My old machine was a remstar m series and more than 15 years old. Thanksc

Make sure you have an SD card in the left side slot to capture sleep data.

I'll suggest getting the free chart application OSCAR. It's above in the banner.

Yes they installed a sd card as a backup when I got the machine. My laptop has a card slot so I can install the software and then download it in the program.
