O2 Ring vs Checkme O2

RE: O2 Ring vs Checkme O2
That is my opinion, the o2 data is just interesting from a trend point of view. That and I frequently have to force the time to sync or the time stamps in the export data drifts. Basically I do factory reset once a week.

Here you can find nice comparision table of different variants of Checkme oximeters from Viatom. I've ordered CheckmeO2 Max from Amazon.de and still wainting for it to arrive.

You need only enough discrete measurements to see a trend and to generate an alarm if the trend continues to a deleterious state. To my way of thinking, a sample every 2-4 seconds, and then averaging four or five of them, might be enough to make the alarm worthwhile. As in worth having your sleep disrupted. I can see why many would want their lower limit for Sat set to near-80 to keep from wakening every 15-20 minutes. But that means you spend a great deal of time around 82-85%, which might be enough to generate atrial fibrillation over a few months.

When a 10-hour recording session is reached, it will start another session.  There is usually a small-time gap between them.

Oh, good! So it would go from, say, 11pm to 9am, skip a bit, then restart (without erasure) shortly after?

RE: O2 Ring vs Checkme O2
I have hypertension (have since I was 16) but recently it has skyrocketed to the point we were discussing stroke possibilities. This happened once before years ago and after a plethora of cardiac tests, the sleep doc poo-pooed everyone, raised the pressure of my CPAP, and after 2 weeks, it was in safe levels. But now I have access to my own data and can see the AHI is well below 5 almost every night. The only data missing is the O2. My watch (galaxy 5) has been telling me I am dropping down to the 80s most nights. I doubt it's reliability in terms of diagnosis but it does tell me I need to look further.

Does the Checkme Max connect to OSCAR? I think the Ring does, right?

If I understand your post correctly, the devices do not connect directly to OSCAR. You will have to import the binary data files from one of their software apps.

RE: O2 Ring vs Checkme O2
I was about to order the Checkme. But before I do, is there two of them? The regular and the MAX? Or does Amazon use the word MAX and Wellue just leave it off? It seems to be the same.

And yes, I meant import the data. Thanks to you both!

Other than being $30 more expensive on Amazon, they are the same.
