F Buttons dont work

i cant get f button to take a screenshot. if i hold fn and f8 the sidebar works. in preferences theres a spot to check save screenshot in oscar data folder, ive tried both ways. theres no screenshots in oscar data folder. ive held all the other buttons too, ctrl ,alt, windows ect. what other folder would it might save to? not downloads, i looked there too. ive even searched this forum for the answer id like to figure this out. thank you. i am hitting prt scr button now. ty Doug

nevermind, its working now, fn plus f12 brings up the file explorer. i chose the folder i preferred to save to. it works fine. f12 looks the same as my prt scr program because i outline whats saved and ive been outlining the way i see everyones. ty all for you help. ty Doug
