Please, need help reading the leak rate and LL info
I just can't seem to figure it out on my own.  I read and read and I still don't understand.

Are these significant leaks?  Sometimes what I read makes me think no, but I am not sure.

Please look at the following screenshots and give me your opinion.  Any comments would be welcome.  FYI I do have plenty of daytime drowsiness.  Just would like to know about my leak rate.

I would say the leak rate, which looks to be a combination of mouth and mask leaks, does appear to be needing addressed. There's too few areas for my comfort that are near or above the 24 L/min redline. Even if those leaks aren't affecting the therapy, which they likely are anyway, it's frequent enough to likely adding disturbance.

[attachment=62577]Well, I tried a loaner airfit f20 facemask last night, it was a minor disaster, disturbing leaks and turbulence.  Not a good feeling.  So this morning I thought I was going to settle down and get everything adjusted and use that mask fit button on my machine so it doesn't mess with my oscar report.  What a joke, I can't see without my glasses, I can't put the mask on with my glasses on.  The videos make it look so easy to pop out one cushion and exchange it for another size.  Finally got it, very hard to pop out, at least for the first time.  Anyway.  I had to go back to my old mask in order to sleep last night.  Here are some of my latest reports.  Suggestions or advice welcome.  All of these screenshots are with the activa nasal mask.  I like it but I guess after I go to sleep I open my mouth.  I do have a lot of allergies and such.  What a mess.

You may benefit from mouth tape.  I need and use it.  Most folks here like the 2-inch wide Cover Roll stretch tape.  Here's a link:

I like a kinesiology tape that I found better.  It's way more expensive, but I find it more comfortable.  Here's a link:

Those leaks look really annoying to me. They might not mess strictly with the results, but I'd be waking up from the sound of rushing air, and not getting much sleep at all.

Plenty of solutions on AB for keeping the mouth shut, but you could also trial a hybrid mask (i.e. not traditional full face like the F20), get the issues dialed in a bit better (and get some sleep) and then return to the nasal mask with your new knowledge. On a hybrid, you would still be needing to deal with mouth drop, but not to the degree of "seal'em super tight" that you'd need with the nasal mask. I speculate hybrid would not be an option if you have a beard.

Thank you Deborah! So, regarding those screenshots. In your opinion, if I could tolerate waking with the occasional dry mouth and such, am I still getting the appropriate therapy? I don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill.

HalfAsleep, that is the mystery to me, I don't ever get a sense of rushing air, just a dry mouth, since I started using this resmed autoset I don't wake up with a headache any longer. Only one frowny face in two months of use.
