I use a ResMed AirSense 11. In the winter, because of condensation issues, I use the ResMed ClimateLine 11 heated tubing. Last week, my pulmonologist ordered then addition of nighttime supplemental oxygen to my CPAP therapy. When the Med Equipment Provider delivered the oxygen concentrator, he said the u/adapt-it connector he had on the truck was for the non-heated tubing and world not work with what I had.
I called the MEP this morning, and they said that ResMed does not have a version of their heated tubing with a built-in O2 connector like they had with the ResMed 10. Bummer.
Does anyone know any different?
Looks like I will either need to (a) use non-heated tubing and a u/adapt-it connector at the machine-end of the tubing for the O2 connection, or (b) continue with the heated tubing, but place the u/adapt-it connector between the end of the hose and my mask.
Anyone else running into this issue?
