What is your Mallampati Score? Are your tongue and palate causing your apnea?
I came across some studies that predict the risk and severity of OSA by measuring the tongue and palate.
Very interesting read.
The standardized measurement is called the "Mallampati Score".
Mine is a full Class IV and I am pretty sure that my sleep apnea is caused entirely by having a too large tongue.
It works like this: You open your mouth as wide as you can and stick your tongue out as far as possible. Keep the tongue relaxed and don try to push it up or down. Just stick it out. Then compare what you see with the picture below.
