fit life mask
Just received a fit life mask. There is a tiny soft plastic piece attached to the entrainment valve. Does any one know what its function is?

If it's what I'm thinking of, it opens to the atmosphere when there is no pressure from the cpap machine and closes the exhalation ports when there is pressure.

I called Respironics - they said they had not received any other complaints about that. Too bad for me, because I find it very comfortable.
