Question about MyAir an mask please

Hi all just picked up my Resmed Airsense I haven’t used it yet  but just a quick question tho you all probably don’t use it or look at it but the MyAir Resmed app
It asked me what mask or nasal thing I’m useing  I’m using the F&P Eson 2
But I could only see the Eson would be the same thing would it ? I haven’t seen the first Eson an I was sure so I just clicked that one as the number 2 wasn’t there.

Also do they have software the machines can ya update the firmware or anything? I wouldn’t have a clue it it’s the latest or not what do you all. Have ?

Yes putting the mask on myAir will be fine. It’s asks for that so it can show you how to fit it and prevent leaks and also how to clean it. It has nothing to do with therapy. If you already know how to put your mask together and take it apart and clean it that section of the app you won’t go to anyway. The app itself doesn’t show much information but I find it handy when I’m in a rush in the morning. I open it at work to see how I did then when I get home I download it to Oscar and look at the details.

As for the firmware that’s been discussed in here before and I think the conclusion was that they don’t update over the air.

Just my 2 cents, but MyAir is absolutely worthless.  (Unless you just can't use OSCAR, it might be better than nothing at all).

It is one of the most annoying apps ever.  Besides the fact that the information is almost useless here, it sends you messages like "good job, you used...blah...blah" etc.

I have deleted it from my iphone.

Do you have the ability to use OSCAR?

You can also use Rescan software. It can be downloaded from Apnea Board. I have both Rescan and OSCAR.

Rescan reporting seem to be better for doctor’s visits, unless you are having particular issues, then OSCAR can zero in on them.

MyAir has s primarily for compliance. I have a MyAir history report put into my medical file.
