Camping with DS2 pair - optimize, recharge?
Spouse an I will go on a 3-day car/tent camping, without power hook-up for our respective DS2s, a once-a year thing.
I seem to barely get by with "retired' car/boat batteries for power, turning heating settings off.
- ideas on optimizing for lower power consumption on DS2?
- suitable solar recharge for the traditional batteries I rely on?

IMO the 3-day length is a challenge. Do you have any mower batteries lying around? You can get an inverter for those… you might even be able to get a solar panel for them that’s plug and play.

I do fine with the 12V directly from the batteries, using the Philips 12V adapter cables.
Issue is make the battery last a bit more, via better CPAP settings and /or use a daytime battery solar trickle charger, perhaps, lots of questionable ones out there.
Note: warm weather tent camping, no heat issues!

You might consider upgrading to a lighter-weight LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Rechargeable Battery. Stay away from energy-wasting inverters.
