I have played with settings trying to get AHI numbers down and consistent with no luck. Alot of Centrals. Went and seen a sleep doc and had sleep test done (still havent heard back), but the very little sleep i got only showed like 6 events and never got deep enough or long enough sleep for insurance to approve putting me on a machine and titrating while I was there. Felt like a waste. So I am wondering if anyone can look at my data and give me some things to try?

First Post - Help with Settings Ideas
Hello. Been on CPAP for 12 years. Had old S9 unit for 11 years and settings were a set pressure of 9. EPR 3 . Got to where i wasnt sleeping good with higher AHI and my machine was so old and showed motor life exceeded I bought a Resmed 10 Autoset.

That is a very high rate of central events. Of course the difficulty in doing a sleep test is half of the night on both of these charts, you have nearly no events, then after 2:00 it's off the charts high. You may want to send these results to your sleep doctor for consideration before he issues a report. I know they mainly interpret the sleep study results, but what you really need is a titration test or script for ASV.
I know with centrals it seems we should just lower EPR, but I have not found that to help very often. I'm tempted to have you try a minimum pressure and maximum pressure of 8.0 or 9.0 and EPR 3 to try to replicate the S9 machine results. How high were events on the S9? I'd like to get some zoomed views of your flow rate where you're not having events, and contrast that with the onset of events. This should be at a zoom resolution of 3-4 minutes so we can see the shape of the wave form. We don't have very many tools to work from with CPAP, and if your insurance has high deductibles and copays, it may not be economical to go through the insurance channel for ASV. We do see ASV machines (Aircurve 10 ASV) on FB Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist and the sales site DotMed at good prices. That of course would resolve the problem.

Sleeprider, Than you for the response! I will try that and see what I can do on getting the flow data comparison. New to Oscar and all this...
