Thank you all for your input last week... I have pneumonia
I appreciate the time that you all took to assist me with my question relating to my difficulty breathing last week. I ended up going to the ER after work on Friday, and sure enough, I have pneumonia. No cough, but I've got a good case of being puny! Two bags of antibiotics, a breathing treatment, and a prescription for ten more days or antibiotics. Still not feeling great, and not real sure how 'on the mend' I am, but surely it will get better.
Thank you all very much Helen

Hi kyhmm72!
Wishing you a speedy recovery! BTW remember to clean your system daily to reduce any retained organisms during your convalescence Hope you feel better soon!
I enjoy being with a group who like to share their "Hosehead" experiences, to remind me I am not alone.

My DME has a special unit that actually cleans the entire machine. I don't know the technical details but it involves UV light. It wouldn't hurt to ask your DME if they can clean your machine for you after you get over your pneumonia. Mine does at no charge. Keep well. |
