heated cpap tube sizes please!

heated cpap tube sizes please!
My original ,Resmed Airsense 10 autoset, came with heated climate line tube. I believe this is what is referred to as 15mm tube? Unfortunately I now have a Dreamstation 2. The heated tubing that came with the dreamstation 2 is a slightly smaller tubing. I hate this slightly smaller tubing. I know this may seem like a small thing, but I hate the smaller tubing.

I read somewhere that the heated tubing from the original Dreamstation was a larger diameter and hopefully will be closer in size to the Airsense?? Most of the heated tubing on the online sites is listed without size information.

Questions- can I get the original Dreamstation heated tubing somewhere? Would it be a larger diameter then the heated tube from the dreamstation 2?  Will the Dreamstation 2 recognize the correct tubing size?

I'm stuck with the Dreamstation for at least 3 years and there are so many things I dislike about it. I'm hoping to fix at least a few problems. Looking forward to switching back to the Resmed brand.

Thanks for any help.

RE: heated cpap tube sizes please!
I understand. My old DME supplied one nasal mask. The only thing they changed was size.

I suspect that the heated hose fittings are what will restrict your choice.

I have a heated hose too. ResMed Autosens *for her*. I added a hose cover. That's the only thing I could change.

I got the fitter's manual for my machine. I find that I have to change settings with some masks. Otherwise I felt I wasn't getting enough air...

Hope this helps.

Respironics makes two heated tubes, 15mm and 12mm. Both will work on the DS2. The DS2 will sense the tube size when connected.

Google.... "respironics 15mm heated tube" and you should be able to find a supplier.

I used to use a 15mm on my DS1. The replacement DS2 came with a 12mm which I have no issue with. I do use an overhead hook which keeps the hose out of the way
