CPAP vs Bipap

Hey everyone!

Im coming from using a CPAP machine but today I will be switching over to a BiPap machine. I would like to read your experiences with BiPap machines along with any general reccomendations you may suggest when using this machine.

Depending on the version of bilevel machine you will be using, it is similar positive air pressure therapy, but much more flexible To make recommendations, it would help to know more about your existing CPAP therapy. So far, you have started 6-threads and rarely respond to feedback in those thread and you have never posted a OSCAR chart. So what exactly do you hope bilevel will do for you that your CPAP has not. What are your settings on your Airsense 11. Why are you moving to a bilevel? Which one. You want answers, provide some better information.

Hello, I apologize, I am not too familiar on how this Forum works still. I know I have started multiples threads but I just thought that's how you had to ask questions and I'm not too tech savvy so I hadn't noticed you can reply, Im not even sure I am replying to your message as of now.
I don't have an Oscar chart, I asked my technician from my CPAP supplier but they couldn't help me. Is this somethig I just have to download? 

I am moving to Bilevel because my CPAP was just not doing it for me, I still had bad sleep and was uncomfortable with it. I only have my ResMed My Air chart but am not aware on how to use Oscar. I appreciate your feedback.

Be sure you have an SD card in your Cpap while you are sleeping, or you will only see summary data on your Oscar chart.

Then, download the free OSCAR software.

I encourage you to follow the advice of Sleeprider and OpalRose -- both are very knowledgeable and regularly offer excellent assistance to members of this forum. OSCAR is an easy-to-install-and-use program, and it will provide valuable information about your therapy.

I have had a couple of days using my BiPAP and sleep a lot better but I have a lot more leaks with all of my masks than with my Cpap, what do you guys reccomend?

Click up top on the Wiki button and read the mask primer. It has all sorts of tips and tricks to help with mask leaks. It a must read for people that have trouble adjusting their mask. Just type mask primer in the Wiki search box and it will take you there.
