Importing O2 & Sleep Stage data into OSCAR??

RE: Importing O2 & Sleep Stage data into OSCAR??
you wouldn't need an api between them, both need to parse and import the data just like data from any cpap machine/device.

sleephq already supports apple watch but they don't contribute code back and would rather hide the feature behind a paywall..

i think there is one app that does it on Android but haven't tried it yet.

RE: Importing O2 & Sleep Stage data into OSCAR??
Hi Shrinivas,

I have been looking for a Sleep-stage monitor also, and this is what I've found...

Official devices list for OSCAR:
https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...d_machines

On this list, the only two supported OSCAR devices are:
ZEO - I have tried searching high and low... it appears that the company closed down in 2013 and their products are unavailable.
DREEM - this seems to be an excellent headband, but it appears the company will not sell to the public...
I have found this: https://beacon.bio/dreem-headband

SleepHQ uses the Apple Watch for sleep data.  AFAIK, this is not compatible with OSCAR.

Here is a review of the Apple Watch sleep tracking:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niLuR68YleI

You will notice that he uses the Dreem Headband as his gold standard.

In summary:
For OSCAR, you can use the Dreem Headband, if and only if you can get one.
For SleepHQ, you can use the Apple Watch (which seems to be about as good as a consumer device gets)
There is no device that will work with both platforms.

If there are other options, someone, please correct me.

David

Thank you Weld... i appreciate the reply!

Alas, I am looking for a bona fide business that will offer a warrantee and, if needed, tech support.
I'm also not too comfortable spending my money on a product whose manufacturer has been out of business for over a decade...
Perhaps Shrinivas may be interested...
